8-Week Board and Train Program
8-Week Rehab Board and Train Program
This program is designed for dogs that show intensive Human/Dog aggression and/or fear aggression, who even have a bite history. We are well-known for our successful rehab work with extremely challenging dogs.
In fact, no dog has ever been turned away from our famous Rehab Board and Train Program, even if, and especially when, others recommended giving up or letting go of that dog. All bad/dangerous/unwanted behaviors are caused by humans. We can work on these issues and we owe it to the dog to give them a second chance to prove people wrong regarding their negative behavior. We deal and have dealt with dogs who have bitten children and adults, as well as dogs who have gotten into dog fights. Working on rehabilitation aggression is much more intense work and isn’t fixed with obedience training. It takes much more, including a far higher risk for us as trainers to get hurt in this process. To minimize the danger, both trainers have to be present working with the dog for everyone’s safety. Our ultimate goal is always to be able to get a dog to a 100% rehabilitation so he/she can exist around people and dogs safely. If you wonder how strong our rehab program will work for your dog, we will not know until we start working with your dog. We will always give you an honest assessment during and after training of what your dog’s immediate limitations might be. Up to today, we still are very proud of our 100% success rate of all our rehab students and their parents, even years later. All of our rehab students have very dedicated parents that strictly followed our guidance after the very intense turnover and its follow up afterwards. Like rehab programs for humans, consistency and adhereing to guardrails are essential to maintain long-term success.
Rehab is no sprint – It’s a marathon.
